This zip archive includes all the files necessary to install
and run Converti

on a Psion Series 3a or 3c: Converti.opa

or on a Psion Series 5 or other Epoc machines: Converti.SIS

Installation on a Psion 3a, 3c or 3mx:
======================================
- copy converti.opa to any \app\ directory
- install Converti like any other Psion application
  (press Psion-I in the system screen, select Converti..).
- start Converti
- press Help or Menu for instructions.

Installation on a Psion 5 or other Epoc:
========================================
- copy the file Copnverti.SIS to your machine and click on it
- you should now have a "Converti" icon in the Extras toolbar.
- start it and press <Ctrl+H> for instructions.

Additional units - ConverBase:
==============================
The standard converti.sis file installs a "standard" data base with
commonly used units. A bigger data base is supplied, prepared by
Charles Reed. It contains loads of additional units (length and
volume) in a file called ConverBase. If you want to use it, copy it
to the folder \system\apps\converti\, on the disk where you have
installed Converti. If you had created your own units in the
previous ConverBase file, they will be lost.

Disclaimer of responsibility.
=============================
Users of Converti must accept this disclaimer of warranty:
"Converti is supplied as is. The author disclaims all warranties,
expressed or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of
fitness for any purpose. The author assumes no liability for damages,
direct or consequential, which may result from the use of Converti or
any of its accompanying files".

Changes in the latest versions:
===============================
5.04 : new menu command <Ctrl+U> to update the names of units.
       new Preference option: names in bold or normal (allows
       longer names).
5.03b: fixed a bug in new "composite" unit.
